Pointe Shoes

Passionate About Pointe Shoes

The physical demands we put on our bodies as dancers, especially our feet, is beyond most people's imagination. When it comes to dancing on pointe, correctly fitting pointe shoes are essential to both the dancer's development of correct technique and the prevention of injury.  At Pose.A we're passionate about pointe work.  With practical experience of dancing on pointe, we know the highs and lows of this demanding yet exhilarating art.  We know what it feels like to wear pointe shoes and this experience is often a great reassurance, especially to some of our younger dancers!

We're also self-confessed perfectionists.  So when it comes to fitting pointe shoes, we're devoted to making sure every dancer goes away with shoes that will both protect her feet, enhance her dancing as well as look good on her feet.  Therefore, out of principle, we do not sell pointe shoes online. However, a trip to our store to be fitted professionally is well worth the effort. In order for us to give each dancer the time and attention that a pointe shoe fitting requires, appointments for fittings are advised, although we will try and accomodate 'walk-ins' wherever possible.  To make an appointment, click here.
