Refund policy

Returns Policy (UK)

We are happy to offer a refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase, provided you have a valid receipt and the item is unused, unworn and returned with all original tags and packaging.

Non-returnable items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds on:

  • Tights and underwear

  • Personalised or made-to-order items

  • Pointe shoes that have been sewn, darned, altered, or marked in any way

  • Sale items purchased in-store

Faulty items — 

If you believe an item is faulty, it must be returned as soon as possible with a valid receipt and its original packaging for inspection.

  • If a manufacturing fault is confirmed within 30 days of purchase, you are entitled to a refund or exchange.

  • If a fault is reported after 30 days (or where wear and tear must be assessed), the item may be sent to the manufacturer or supplier for inspection before a refund or exchange can be offered.

  • Items showing faults due to misuse, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear will not be considered faulty.


Online Returns — 

For items purchased online, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

To return an online order:

  1. Notify us in writing within the 14-day cancellation window by emailing info@poseadancewear.com.

  2. Include your name, order number, and details of the item(s) you wish to return.

  3. Items must then be returned in their original, unworn condition with all tags attached.

After this 14-day period, no refunds or exchanges will be given unless the item is faulty.

Please note:

  • Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

  • Sale items purchased online can be returned within the legal 14-day cancellation period.


Pointe Shoe Returns Policy

We take pride in offering a professional pointe shoe fitting service. We encourage every dancer to provide honest feedback during their fitting to ensure the correct shoe is selected.

We also recommend that:

  • First-time students have their teacher approve their shoes following the fitting.

  • Students changing make or style seek teacher approval where appropriate.

  • Teachers are welcome to contact us directly to discuss fittings and shoe suitability.

Returning Pointe Shoes

Pointe shoes may only be returned if they are in perfect, original condition. We cannot offer refunds or exchanges on pointe shoes that:

  • Have ribbons or elastics sewn on

  • Have been darned

  • Are marked, scuffed, used, or altered in any way

Please note:
Pointe shoes naturally break down at different speeds depending on usage, strength, technique, humidity, and floor type. Broken, softened, or worn-out pointe shoes are not deemed faulty and will not qualify for a refund or exchange.
